Today I’ll be sharing with you a new artwork i created recently using ballpoint pen and charcoal on paper.

He does not speak,
but the silence tells it all.
A mountain of fabric towers,
not his, yet his to bear.
A school uniform clings,
creased with dust,
creased with days too old for his age.
He sits beside the weight,
neither crushed nor free,
his body folding into the ground
like a question waiting for an answer.
Childhood, stolen in pieces,
stitched into duty,
threaded with fatigue.
And still,
in the tilt of his head,
in the fragile rise of his chest,
a breath of tomorrow lingers.
