Good night to all my beloved hive friends ♥️

I also wonder why I photographed this strange insect, which is often considered ugly by some people. There is nothing interesting about this insect when we look at it from a distance, but when I saw the results of my photos, they immediately changed the way I see this strange insect.

Let me introduce you to a leaf-footed bug from the Coreidae family. This insect can usually be found in plantations, where it often perches on plants. It is often considered a pest by farmers because it can suck fluids and sap from leaves and fruits, making it a natural pest for many plants. I am sure that almost 100% of farmers must hate this insect.

But now, let us look at it from a different perspective. Leaf-footed bugs have a very unique shape, with an elongated body and a thorax that extends outward on both sides, making them look a little scary. Meanwhile, their heads are small, with a pair of long, segmented antennae extending forward. I photographed this insect using a macro lens, allowing every detail to be seen quite clearly and making it easier for us to identify it.

I also managed to photograph it from several different angles, and this is the most challenging part of macro photography. This insect is predominantly dark brown, and when we look at it from above, we can see the texture of its back, which appears somewhat rough or speckled. However, its legs and antennae have more striking colors, featuring a reddish-brown gradient.

Judging by its size, it is most likely still very young. When it reaches adulthood, its color will change slightly from brown to gray, and its body will also become larger. The most interesting part is seeing this insect in flight, because there is a bright orange color on the underside of its wings that can only be seen when it flies.

This insect is completely harmless to humans, but you should never try to touch it. When it feels threatened, this insect can release a very strong-smelling liquid, which can sometimes be thick and stick to our hands. However, this is one of its unique features, as the liquid serves as one of its defense mechanisms.
