So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the third topic for this week, which is “A SIMPLE EDUCATION”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “A SOLO TRIP”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community, telling us about their willingness to go on a solo trip across the country. This is something that could be very enjoyable for them, seeing how it would expose them to a different lifestyle and also the way of life of others.
We got to see that while many of us would love to take solo trips, not many can. From insecurity and the uncertainty ofthe roads themselves. A lot of challenges will be presented with such an endeavour, and in the end, it just might not be worth it. This was an enlightening topic, indeed.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w207e2 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there, it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. And so, the posts that will be featured not just for their exceptional content, but also for their level of engagement with other authors, will be listed below.
This author told us that when going on trips, the safety of the person traveling should be of utmost priority. If that can’t be guaranteed, then it would be best forgotten. He prefers taking trips with friends and family, because that increases the amount of fun to be had. Traveling solo will ot give him this. And he would only travel alone when he had no one to accompany him.

*For this author, she told us that going on a solo trip in Nigeria would bea dangerous decision. This is because, from bad roads to insecurity, there are just so many things that could go wrong. Also, it’s not something that can easily be accomplished without a guide, and it will be a seriously expensive endeavour. While it would be fun, there are just so many factors involved.”
For this author, he told us that traveling solo is quite easy, one just has to be prepared for the challenges that come with it. Solo traveling has to be properly planned and if one would enjoy it, steps must be taken to ensure that things go wrong only to the minimum level.

“There are schools where the competition is so fierce that students have to do unethical things just to pass the exams, from taking drugs to stay up late, to starving themselves and working themselves to the bone just to make their grades. And for many who don't make it, they fall into depression and other negative fallouts. Should schools be allowed to be so competitive?
