So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the third topic for this week, which is “INSURANCE”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “HISTORY REMEMBERS”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community, sharing their thoughts with us on the idea of monuments being built for people of questionable characters. And even when they were once thought to deserve it, but it was later revealed about who they truly were, should the honor still be given to them?
We got to see that many times, such things don’t hurt the victims alone, many times they cast a bad light on everyone else, especially when such a person is being praised for over and over, regardless of the ugl truths about them. In the end, it’s up to the people to honor who they believe deserves it. It was an interesting topic, indeed.

Which is why while some may be seen as heroes for what they have done, they could also be seen as villains by others for doing the very same thing. In the end, it’s all subjective.

Destroying the monuments to people with dark pasts will not solve anything; it might even get some people into trouble. However, there will always be ways in which such matters can be solved without escalating them.
