Hello everyone, how are you doing today? Hope you are having a great time. This will be Week 168, Edition 01 of our Weekly Featured Content.
Made With Canva
So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on the first topic for this week, which is “SKIPPED MY MIND”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “CODING AND TECH”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about their thoughts on coding and the vast world of tech. With the world leaning more and more towards programming and artificial intelligence, the debate is up if school subjects on programming should be taught to kids early in school or not.
We got to see different opinions on this. Many believe that every child should be exposed to programming from a young age, and there were those who felt that it should come in later, when the children are mature enough to make such choices. However, in a world that’s becoming increasingly tech-driven, it’s easy to see how much more important such fields will be in the nearest future.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w167e3 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there, it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. And so, the posts that will be featured not just for their exceptional content, but also for their level of engagement with other authors, will be listed below.
Featured Contents
WHY CODING IS THE NEW ABC: PREPARING KIDS FOR AN AI-DRIVEN FUTURE by @idksamad78699
This author told us that at this point, coding should be considered basic and as such, it should be taught in schools instead of kids growing up into adults without having an idea what it is or how it works. It should be made compulsory because in the nearest future, airitifial intelligence will have even more prominence.
RAISING FUTURE ELITES by @kilvnrex
For this author, he told us that making programming and coding courses compulsory for children would not be fair due to how difficult some kids might find it. Even adults are finding the most basic forms of programming a bit hard to grasp, so it just might be that not every child would find it easy to learn.
LEARNING TO CODE WAS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME @pablito.saldo
For this author, he believes that programming should be added to regular school curriculum. The earlier that kids are exposed to it, the more knowledgeable they’ll be about it and the more opportunities will be taken advantage of. Having more people learning programming would be more beneficial in the long run.
All of the above contents were supported by our official curation account lazy-panda with an extra amount. The first 3 authors will receive 100 ECENCY Points [ Sponsored By Ecency Team (

But then, we have some honorable mentions listed below:
Honorable Mention
THE TECH ERA: KNOWING SOMETHING ABOUT EVERYTHING by @emrysjobber
IT’S NOT NECESSARY THAT EVERYONE LIKES CODING by @intishar
PROGRAMMING AS A SCHOOL SUBJECT by @crazyphantombr
These are posts that were also found to be quite exceptional.
AND NOW, WE MOVE ON TO THE NEW TOPIC!
