So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on the first topic for this week which is “WHEN DOES YOUR HOLIDAY START?”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic which was “WHY SO FORGETFUL?”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about the time that they forgot something important and it ended up derailing their plans or getting them into serious trouble. They went on to share how they managed to escape all that and the steps they took to ensure such never happened again.
We got to see that everyone can forget anything at any time, no matter how trivial or important. But then, how we deal with these and the measures we take to ensure that such a thing doesn’t happen again is what makes it so important. It was an enlightening topic indeed.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w143e1 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. And so, the posts that will be featured not just for their exceptional content, but also for their level of engagement with other authors will be listed below.

This author told us that her memory only got worse during the 2020 pandemic. We live in a world that encourages people to have only a short span when it comes to being attentive. As a result, it’s so easy to forget so many things because we’re consuming content at a pace that many of us have never had before. So, if proper care isn’t taken to remember something, it might just be gone, only to be remembered when it’s too late.

For this author, he shared with us how being forgetful caused his company to lose a whole lot of money. It was a major mishap that could have cost him his job, but thankfully, that didn’t turn out to be the case. It caused irrevocable damage, but they were able to pull through..

For this author, got carried away with work and ended up forgetting about a major event in his friend’s life. While his friend was cool about it, he felt bad because he never meant to forget such an important date. He then opted to start making notes on Google Calendar to keep dates and ensure that he never forgot in the future.
