Lightning and Thunder

The movie, "Sully" was playing on the bus television. The people went quiet when it suddenly poured down. In an instant, the orange sky turned dark and was filled with raging lightning and thunder. She silently watched the rain flowing outside the windows. Was the sudden change of the weather a sign? It was as if the heavens were telling her not to go, to turn back. She shouldn't see him. She already knew what'll happen, but she still rode that bus. The rain outside was getting louder, stronger. No more turning back, she thought. Face the consequences. No regrets.
