You brought me into this world
Always told me to be strong
I thought we had infinite time together
But death has proved me wrong

Your bedroom is now empty space
Where your beautiful head once laid
Death wouldn't let you stay with me
No matter how hard I prayed

I'll never forget that calming voice
On the other end of the phone
But now all I hear is screaming silence
A reminder that I am all alone

Maybe I can stop this thinking
And drag myself to bed
Drown myself in brand new tears
As I rest this weary head

A million I love yous isn't enough
I had a million more to go
You were my mother and best friend
I hope I've let that show

Tomorrow will bring forth a new day
But one without your face
I promise to live life patiently
Waiting for your sweet embrace

I miss you Mommy. I love you.

Wishing you all love, peace, and happiness

Love,
