When the power goes out, life suddenly gets quiet — like a candle flame. No scrolling, no noise — just the sound of clay in my hands and a little flashback to childhood.

I ended up making a lamp out of a jar and some foil — and honestly, it felt a bit like magic.

Without electricity, you start to notice things. The room feels cozier, tea smells better, and time finally slows down a little.

Maybe these blackouts aren’t really about the lights going off — maybe they’re about our souls turning on.

Sometimes God turns off the lamp just to remind us that the real light isn’t in the socket — it’s inside us.💝😇
