Good evening dear hivers, I wish you a beautiful weekend... Below I share with you my participation to the interesting proposals of our friend galenkp@galenkp.

What makes you jealous and why?

In my relationships I have tried to control jealousy and I have managed to maintain this behavior because I have worked to transform and correct this feeling, but there are circumstances where in my personal case it is inevitable to feel jealousy. I will share with you some of my past experiences.

When my partner shares a lot of time with his friends and does not include me in that circle of friends, claiming that it is a gathering exclusively for men where women cannot participate in the activities they do. I have had couples who give first place to their circle of friends, in some of my experiences I have talked and got my partner to recognize that it was an exaggerated and atypical behavior, but other experiences did not end well and of course the relationship was fractured by that intense and incoherent relationship where friends displaced the couple's relationship.

I can understand that there are times when it is impossible to answer a message or return a phone call either for work or personal reasons, but there is always time to open a parenthesis and answer or return a call, when this apathy becomes a habit then my jealousy and distrust appear, I feel that the attention should be a two-way street where both people feel the right attention.

Another circumstance for which I feel jealous and mistrust is when my partner spends many hours on his cell phone without paying attention to the conversation we are exchanging and when he reacts with an attitude of secrecy with his cell phone. I am not one of the people who usually checks messages of the cell phone, since it is something that I do not like to receive a change, but having an attitude of nervousness and a little aggressiveness with the cell phone or laptop is something that creates distrust in me.

When my partner treats another woman with exaggerated kindness, when he behaves in a very affectionate and attentive manner, demonstrating a pattern of behavior that does not reflect his true personality.

Thank you very much for visiting my blog, I send you a big hug!
