After reaching of 20000$ bitcoin started trending down and now it is trading at 6700$. With bitcoin all other coins are also in downtrend and following bitcoin. Steem price is also trading at very low levels and rewards for posting also reduced. Some people makes mistake by thinking it will not go beyond this level but that is not correct. I think it will take some time to enter into uptrend until only we expect bounce back and again to lower levels. Bitcoin should form a strong bullish candle in charts with huge volumes to enter into uptrend.
Some long-term investors taking positions and some people are averaging their coins with expectation of bitcoin will give good returns in future. This is also a good practice but patience is the key for success in trading.
