Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. Today, my wife and I were busy from morning until afternoon helping her aunt harvest longans. This month and next month are the harvest season in our district. Our family's longan orchard has huge fruits and a massive yield this year. A merchant has already bought out the whole orchard, so they will handle the care and harvesting themselves. However, my wife's aunt's longan orchard doesn't have much yield, so she has to harvest it herself before selling to the merchant. After taking our granddaughter and autistic son to school, we came straight home and headed to my wife's aunt's longan orchard, which is about 1 km away. Along the way, we need to pass through the large watermelon farm and the longan orchard belonging to another aunt of my wife too. It’s overcast this morning, and there’s a pleasant cool wind.
We spent approximately 8 hours from morning to afternoon harvesting longans at my wife's aunt's orchard. Despite the fatigue, the harvest was a fun experience for us. We haven't finished harvesting the longans this time yet, and we will need to continue harvesting this longan orchard tomorrow.
