Hello Hivers! It looks like veteran NBA stars got themselves on Boracay (Philippinen's most famous beach) enjoying the sun after being eliminated in the ongoing NBA's playoff. Watching today's NBA playoffs has become my thing now, and add to that some studio shows and podcasts that say words of analysis from the "expert host" before and after the games. Definitely, the NBA has become more entertaining and competitive than before. But, for this blog, I'm not talking about basketball; actually, I'm sharing my silver coins today.
My last post was about some 50 centavos coins, and I thought, Why not share other denominations of silver coins? So now, I'm sharing these coins, the 20 centavo silver coins under US administration.
The first issued 20 centavos of this kind were minted in 1903, composed of 90% silver. In 1907, they reduced the silver content down to 75%. The last minted 20-cent silver coin was in 1945, after World War II.
Value
Most of these coins I bought before were very close to their silver content value, even the uncirculated and brilliant ones. So now, because silver is up, if I sell now, it means profit. But of course, it's not going to happen because my collection is for the long run. Maybe I just pass them all on to the next generation.
As I write this post, my delivery of gold just arrrived, and surely I'm going to also share it here.
Next blog soon 😀.
