The United States Space Force has deployed its first soldiers. But not in Space, instead in Qatar.

The U.S. Space forced deployed its first ever armymen. In Qatar. For the first time ever. The ceremony during which twenty pilots joined the Space Force took place at the Al Udeid Air Base on the 1st September.
Todd Bensen, colonel from the U.S. Space Force, said that this is an historic event as the participants of this ceremony are joining service while being deployed to defend the United States. They are the first members of the United States Space Force that are deployed to support combat operations.
From the information available, the soldiers will work on finding sources of electromagnetic interference that could potentially disrupt the function of American satellites or solve other different logistical objectives.
The U.S. not only wants to be in space. They want to be the leaders of space exploration in all its forms. The U.S. Space Command and the U.S. Space Force will play a key role in protecting U.S. interests in Space.
