Ode to the Ant
A Sonnet
by kpd
My funny ant, you inspire me to write.
I hate the way you eat, prowl and frighten,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the blue write-in.
Let me compare you to a grey cafe?
You are more sunny and more impatient.
Slim breeze flaps the pleasant dancers of May,
And the springtime has the sublime patient.
How do I hate you? Let me count the ways.
I hate your lip and personality.
Thinking of your restive smile fills my days.
My hate for you is the sexuality.
Now I must away with a noble heart,
Remember my bad words whilst we're apart.
