My adolescence was not extraordinary, separated from guardians and being raised by a stepmother who unmistakably did not realize what love was. Each Christmas, I ached for a Victorian doll house. I would hold up restlessly trusting the doll house would be under the tree. Each Christmas the young lady stirred with a broken heart. Quick forward, I am currently a mother with 2 grown-up children. Five years prior, I stirred on Christmas day to the Victorian DOLL HOUSE, given to me by my children. My life ended up at ground zero and the adoration for my kids filled the void left by my adolescence. Recovered through adoration!
