Hey Everybody!
So today I was browsing through some of my guildmates' posts and happened to come across one from @jdike where he used a tool called SplinterStats to automatically pull stats from the previous season. I personally thought this was awesome as it makes it a lot easier for me to track things for when the tax man inevitably comes. Too bad I didn't find this sooner. Anyways, here are my stats for last season!
| Stat | # |
|---|---|
| Gold Rank | 6763 |
| Rating | 1945 - Gold III |
| Rating High | 2022 |
| Ratio (Win/Loss) | 0.89 (285/322) |
| Tournament Ratio (Win/Loss+Draw) | 0.92 (11/11/1) |
| Tournament Reward Placements | 1/1 |
| Longest Streak | 7 |
I think this was my best performing season largely thanks to renting Lightning Dragon and Selenia from @smalp. Unfortunately, the market for these cards pumped and the rent went up for this season. As such, I've largely had to figure out a new strat.
| Tournament | League | Editions | Placement/#entrants | Ratio (Win/Loss+Draw) | Prize |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Freaky Friday | Silver | Open | 32/449 | 1.25 (5/4/0) | 3 SPS |
| Reward | Count | Quantity |
|---|---|---|
| SplinterShards (SPS) | 1 | 3 |
This season also marks the first time I've entered a tournament. I was incredibly happy as I managed to place and come out with a small SPS reward. I know it isn't much but I earned it with my skills and I couldn't be happier.
Since I've entered additional tournaments and while I haven't placed as well since I'm doing okay and breaking even at worst.

I did quite well with my card pulls and am eagerly working towards improving my card levels. That said, the legendries continue to elude me. No worries though right, there are months of printing left ahead for each of them.
| Type | DEC (fees) |
|---|---|
| Revenue | 799.066 (39.950) |
| Expenses | (4233.708) |
| Cancellation Refunds | 502.717 |
| NET | (2971.875) |
The rental section of this tool is where I am really gaining some value. By netting out my earnings and expenses I can then compare against my Ranked Play Earnings and clearly tell if I'm coming out on top or not. Luckily by these metrics it looks like I lost around $30 in rentals but easily made that up by earning $66 in gains all things considered.
| Type | Amount Claimed |
|---|---|
| Airdrop | 103.479 |
| Staking Rewards | 104.609 |
| NET | 208.088 |
I took to the strategy of staking most of my SPS over the past few months instead of taking advantage of the more profitable DEC airdrop value. I had planned to change my approach here but with SPS sinking to just below buyin for a good chunk of my SPS I've opted to hold and see what the future brings.
