His name is Narayana Moorthy. A seventh generation drum player in the a small village in the southern part of India. He still is by profession a tabala (native drums) player who earns his living through playing drums in traditional weddings and during Festivals. He is also the father of two children. Although he does not want his son to continue his profession since it isn't a very lucrative job and can't often support them since times are changing
