Let's examine another card today, shall we?
The shilvershield palladin is one third of the Earth Splinter Trinity, along with the Divine Healer and the Peacebringer.
What's good about him? At level 8 he has a low mana compared with nine lives, four shields, shield ability, and magic reflect ability. That magic reflect ability is very useful against magic attacks; he gets damaged, but he also reflects that damage back to the attacker.
What's bad about him? No heal ability, he relies on Divine Healer to get him going and restore his health. His melee attack is not overpowering either, and his speed is mediocre. But he works well in the afore mentioned trio, so you can't avoid spending on him, and you won't regret it either.
