Henderson County Libertarian Party Meeting

Today, I went to the Henderson County Libertarian Party monthly meeting. This month in particular was a candidate meet n greet.
The Chair in Henderson County, Desarae Lindsey, put together a really good meeting and has also managed to help get a handful of Libertarians on the ballot in that area. Kudos to her!

I spoke about making sure that the Libertarian Party in Texas has someone at the top of the ballot, that can carry a very bold, unapologetic message of freedom, and that's what this campaign brings. I want to make sure we separate ourselves from the two old parties. Furthermore, I want to make sure we are NOT, NOT trying to cater to one demographic. A bold message, that is consistent, is what will reach all demographics, and that is what this campaign is doing. We have people telling the two old parties "see ya later" and we have people who have never voted before getting out to vote because this message gives them something to get excited about, and that's how we are going to win elections. Trying to get five or ten percent is going to be old news, start believing in yourself, we are going to start winning elections.
