North Korean Internet
Access to "on-Site" is possible only with computers on the operating system "Red star", which resembles the development of the American software manufacturers, however, is loyalty to the ideology of North Korea (which often reminds the user). The creation of new pages and their addition takes place strictly at the request of the authorities: the information downloaded from the "big" Internet is translated by regular specialists (their number reaches several thousand), is thoroughly processed and censored.
The local network is not like the big Internet: it aims to disseminate information rather than to communicate, entertain, or trade. E-mail correspondence of North Koreans is limited to primitive greeting cards to each other. Social networking "Kanmani" is not provided.
