After the long days of wait we are left with the last four who will fight for a spot in the Afcon finals.
Senagal and Nigeria booked their semifinal spots yesterday and today Tunisia ended the run of the promising Madagascar team with a three goal riot to put a big hole on their Afcon hopes, cotediviore couldn't match Algeria in penalties after 120 minutes of play.
The two semifinal games will be on the 14th when Senagal take on Tunisia and Algeria and Nigeria will battle it out later that day.
Senagal has been looking good throughout the campaign picking up 6 points from the group stage and losing one game to the Algerians in their second group game and there will be looking to take on Tunisia toe to toe who passed through the group stage with 3 draws and 3 points. With the power house of Mane by thier side they will feel they have what it takes to get the job done.
Nigeria face a big test when they play Algeria who has not lost a game in this tournament and the only draw was just the quarter final game against ivory Coast. Nigeria has been fearless in the competition, a big comeback to take out Cameroon and of course a wonderful game against South Africa the other night. So I believe this will be a case of who wants it more.
So I guess we wait in two days time to know who gets pass his opponent to challenge for who is the Africa best team.
