I do love black and white photography it has something more then just color photos and that is they look more realistic and dramatic showing the real features and contrast of the subject as with low key photography, I haven't done or practiced enough on this type of photography only because it's bit more time consuming and you do need a more decent camera to be able to do this sort of photography now a days we just seem to use our smartphones for everything yeah it makes things quicker and easier but we are really missing out on the real fun of photography, I remember when I got my first real Nikon camera, I was forever experimenting and trying new things and some times by accident, I would fluke a few good shots.
I was always interested in low key photography for the reason if you can master getting these low key photo right they just look so real like the subject is popping out of the frame and I got to practice my friends then I was just trying out everything flowers, fireworks, fire, beach shells and so on and I am always pleased with myself when I get a good result even though it takes a bit of time to get what you really want.
I never when to any photography lessons although, I would have love to but time is always the issue most of my skills of photography have come from YouTube and then going out trying it out for myself by trail and error you soon pick up the do's and don't and it becomes more fun when you start to achieve what makes you happy but there is always room for improvements and that's what I try to strive each time to make it better each time, I pick up my Nikon camera as they say practice does good now here are some low key photos of flowers and sea shells for you and remember there is always room for improvement.
