Greetings, dear friends! Welcome to my blog. I’m participating once again in the photo contest organized by qurator@qurator, Qurator's Photo Quest | Corner. I took this photo in Callejón el Alacrán, located in the historic district of Cumaná, Sucre State, Venezuela.

This little corner of the city’s colonial district is one of my favorites. It’s special because of its narrow streets, cobblestone walkways, colorful little houses, and a rainbow of flowers that beautifully envelop the place, turning it into a truly intimate space. Right at that intersection is Callejón El Alacrán, a secret little spot that usually lulls you into silence, perfect for reflection. Sometimes I’ve found people sitting in the alley, surrounded by floral arrangements, enjoying the peace that emanates from this little colonial refuge.

The iconic El Alacrán alley is a priceless gem of the colonial city that enriches us with its history and makes it truly impossible not to feel a connection to our roots.

This is my entry in Qurator's Photo Quest competition. Photos taken with my Xiaomi Redmi 9 phone.
