5:00 in the morning. My alarm clock rings. Slowly I fight my way out of bed. My eyes are burning and I am still very tired.
As if I were drunk, I stumble into the bathroom. My dog is fresh and lively and follows me.
I look in the mirror. Have I got new wrinkles? If so, they don't stand out with the big tear sacs. I want to sleep. Sleep much and long. I take a noise was. A heavy breathing as if Darth Vader were standing next to me. But it is not a hero from Star Wars, but my dog.
She managed to walk the few meters into the bathroom to go back to sleep. The snoring is not to be overheard as if she wanted to tell me that she has it better than me. Sleep well my dog.
DEUTSCH
Morgens um 5 Uhr. Mein Wecker klingelt.
Schlaf gut mein Hund.
