Well i do promote catch and release for the future generations ... But when lobster/crayfish season is in , i love treating myself to a delicious seafood dinner about twice a year....
crayfish, blacktail, garlic n cheese mussels and some crab flavoured sticks
The entire meal was caught and cooked by myself and the whole family enjoyed the feast.
I bought the crab flavoured sticks as it was not season for crabs...
myself, my wife, sister and brother in law
If you really want solid good advice when cooking lobster or crayfish , boil them in sea water until fully cooked just grab a 3 liters of sea water pour it in the pot bring to boil, add the crayfish/lobster, boil for 30 mins till bright red.
Dont have sea water ? Dont stress just add water to a pot add table/sea salt , dont be shy add enough, it helps the lobster maintain that fresh taste and follow the same recipe ...
Round it all off with a nice sweet rosé wine and enjoy.
You'll thank me later hahaha
Enjoy my fellow fishing frends
Ps. next meal will be crocodile with a recipe from the crocodile farm ofcourse ...
