One of the plans for my trip to VA was to take a tour at The Grand Caverns. Our son Devin was a guide there this summer. I was his last tour.
He is moving home and wanted someone from the family see take the tour.
It was crazy. The caves were discovered in 1804 by a young animal trapper. The caves are the oldest toured caves in North America.
As we made our way through the maze of halls and over head wonders traveld 200 feet under ground and walked close to a mile into the caves.
