Well, the space they require will depend on your location. Where I live, the grass grows very well and we can get around 2 full grown Dexters per acre vs. 1 conventional breed per acre. As for pasture management, we have a couple of pasture sectioned off and use rotational grazing. We are trying to raise them as all natural as possible and this seems to work best for us.
