Shantiniketan, a monastery and an educational institution, situated near Bolpur in the Birbhum district of West Bengal, was established by Maharshi Devendranath Tagore, father of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. The place, Shantiniketan is approximately 180 kms away from Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal.
A few months ago my brother had gone on a short trip to Shantiniketan with his few college friends.
