Today, very early, we met at our friend Johnny Mendoza's house, the members of our Falc贸n Street Workout team, along with some guys from the University of Zulia. These guys are spokespersons for the student groups and made a proposal to work together with us, teaching calisthenics classes to a group of university students.
This is a great proposal and an opportunity to make calisthenics even more known in our city. In addition, it is an excellent job opportunity for the kids in the group, since they will be able to work on what they love.
Almost all the members of the group were present at the meeting: Johnny Mendoza, president of Falc贸n Street Workout; myself, Kleiber Mart铆nez, vice president; 脕ngel Lanoy, our advisor; and the rest of the main members of our group: Jes煤s Montes de Oca, Maikol Mavarez, Miguel Areas, Omar G贸mez, Norkys Galicia and Le贸n. Some terms still need to be defined, but everything is going very well. There will be three group classes a week, and the boys we chose to teach these classes were Jes煤s, Maikol and Omar. Miguel will be the substitute coach in case anyone cannot attend. I hope they do very well and that more and more people learn about this beautiful sport.
We also touched on some other topics, like the Falcon Wars, which is a competition we organize every year. This year we will also do it, but I will give you that information another time. Our friend Manuel Ramos also chatted with us a little via video call during the meeting.
It was a pleasure to be able to reunite almost the entire team again, since we had days without seeing some of the kids who live further away.
See you in the next post
