Introduction
Hi everyone, my name is Kim. I'm a Business Administration student in Oslo and I'm new to Steem. I first created an account last year but never really used the service until recently when I came across an interesting article about Steem and remembered that I had an account I'm not really one for blogs but I thought I'd give it a go. I've been deeply interested in cryptocurrencies for the longest time but never really invested in it as cash was a bit tight with being a student and all that. Then I realised that I had about 30 or so STEEMPower on it. I'm ashamed to say I tried to powerdown this STEEMPOWER and cash out. Seeing how long it would take to do so made it kind of useless for what I wanted to do with it. I'm definely glad that I did't go through with it now even it wasn't a lot after getting better acquainted with Steem.
Steem so far has been good fun learning how everything works and reading rather interesting articles that I don't often read elsewhere. I love the focus on Steem being creating good quality content and community. I'm still learning about how all the different components work together. I'm looking to invest more of my time on Steem and maybe put some good content out there for you guys to read. I'm a rather opinionated person but tend to keep these opinions to myself in my own life. On the internet it's a very diferent situation all together. I will ocationally get into arguements with people on Twitter about politics or peoples opinions on different topics from games to US politics. But the short form nature of Twitter makes it very difficult to get into in depth discussions with people. I like to argue on points that I believe in not to try to change peoples minds or just be a dick, but more of a challenge to myself to see if I can logically argue a point. I enjoy debating quite a bit. I'm not the best and sometimes let my opinions take over evidence or facts, but I usually will try to do at least the bare minimum amount of research before speaking on a topic that I have even the smallest doubt in. I guess that comes from me being terrible at schooling, as I've been to 2 different universities in the last 7 years, but I always enjoyed doing research for the different papers I've had to write. I'm happy to say I'm about to graduate this summer finally (hopefully).
Things I might write articles on
I'm looking to write some opinion pieces on more simple and easily relateable topics like movies/tv shows or video games to start of with as I continue to learn about Steem, but I might write about more contrivsial topics like politics (even if I think it really shouldn't be contriverial at all because politics effects everyone regardless of whether they support certain positions or not) or I might do some technical analysis of Crytocurrenciess as thats what I studied at uni. Not Crypto specically but financial analysis in general. The same princples apply and I might as well use my education for something. I'm still working how all this should be structured.
I'm also interested in coding and I'm currently learning to code in Python as its a great way to analyse data for statistical analysis. Though that sort of thing wont be included in what I write about for a while I think as I would need to get reliable data sets and all that jazz. I can also do some basic coding in Java and C++ already. Technology in general also greatly interests me but anything to do with computers specifically really intrigues me.

I feel that this might be a bit long winded and all but I'm not really good about talking about myself and what I want to do. Something I should probably learn to do and get better at.
