Dumbo es el cuarto largometraje animado de Walt Disney Pictures, narra la historia de Jumbo Jr., un elefante que es ridiculizado por sus enormes orejas, pero será precisamente esa singularidad lo que le permitirá volar, convertirse en la estrella del circo, y recuperar a su madre.
Una de las escenas más conmovedora de Dumbo es la visita de Jumbo Jr. a su madre encadenada y encerrada luego de que en su intento de defender a su hijo de unos niños abusivos desata todo un alboroto en el circo. Donde su madre le canta a su hijo el tema llamado Hijo del corazón, donde lo acaricia con su trompa, y lo mece mientras canta esta hermosa canción. Y aunque solo alcanza a tocar su trompa eso basta para que el pequeño elefante se sienta reconfortado.
Una de las historias que ha cautivado a niños y adultos, y al mismo tiempo los deja con un nudo en la garganta es Dumbo y díganme si estoy equivocada?
