The scale of the Mars mission is almost beyond comprehension. Most of us can't even imagine what this means, yet it is being made real right before our eyes.

10 Starship launches per day across several sites. This is a number many still can't believe, but when they are building 1,000 Starships per year, with full reusability, it will not only happen, but will need to happen to get them out of the way.
200+ tonnes to LEO
That's 200+ tonnes to LEO for every one of the Starships launching, 10 times a day.
To put that in perspective, not counting SpaceX, only three of these launches is more the ones years worth of all launches by everyone else in 2024 - in less than a day.
1,500,000
This is the mass that will be sent to LEO every 26 months to enable the Mars transfer mission.
The Mars rockets will be launched. Then additional propellent to refuel them in LEO.
Then close to leaving, all the crew and passengers will be launched to dock with their ships.
250,000
Every 26 months when Mars aligns more closely to Earth, all the Starships will depart to Mars on the three to six month journey.
This will carry on for a number of cycles until approximate 1,000,000 tonnes has been sent to Mars. These are the estimated numbers required to build a self-sustaining colony on Mars.
