Where is Starship 40 today 5 Oct 2026? Ship 40 remains aboard the Boskalis Forte. She's left the South Atlantic behind. Latest AIS puts her in the Caribbean Sea, roughly 20°N 83°W, still pushing toward

While there is a lot of discussion about what SpaceX Starship is doing on the next test flight, there still is not enough about how radically Starship will change the face of space once it is fully

Lots of discussion about Starship landing backup options. There is one solution - Dragon.

I was watching Ship 41 come in on Flight 14. In the last part of the belly flop, just before the flip and burn, it was dropping at about 100 metres a second. That’s roughly 360 km/h, still falling sideways.

So the question of the day is: If a Moon or Mars colony declares independence, can someone on Earth become a citizen without ever going? Passport, vote, tax. No longer governed from Earth. All from a couch

Will we only trust Starship if it lands like a plane of the Space Shuttle? That is the question people keep asking when they watch a belly-flop flip into a late Raptor relight. Certification can clear

A laboratory on Mars beats MSR. Surely? The prize is not a box of rocks in Houston. The prize is answers. Age, chemistry, organics, context, and whether Mars ever held anything alive. Classic sample return

To Chicken on Mars, or not to Chicken? That is the question? Once people live in large rotating habitats around Earth and in settlements on Mars, and once those places grow serious amounts of food, then

So the question of the day is: If the company is real and the workers are AI bots and robots, does the product still need a Made with AI stamp? The company produced it. Does it matter?

1,000,000 vs 1,000 - which is best? Elon Musk has said for years that a self-sustaining Mars city needs about a million people and on the order of a million tonnes of cargo. If the ships from Earth stop,

Look at the Starship and Nova hot-staging frames. I think those engineers must have been drinking the same Kool-Aid. 🤔

I think I've discovered the three new laws of robotics. Make them cheap Make them fast Make them look after people Coming soon to an android near you.

We talk about Starlink and Starmind as if Earth is the goal - what if it's not. Sure, everything Elon does has a benefit on Earth, but weigh that against one of his key life goals - a self-sustaining colony

So the question of the day is?

So the question of the day is

So the question of the day is: why does the Starbase Louisiana layout have such a large gap down the middle? Then I got thinking. Could that open strip be ready for a future Shuttle-class runway?

Where on Earth would you actually stand up a Mars colony sim? Not a two-week habitat stay. A real base you add to every two years, the same cadence a Starship wave would use. I have been looking at
