You raise a good point. I'm assuming an initial, single SpaceX Mars colony, then a spread to multiple locations. Not sure if it will be as a strategy or by the private citizens who travel with them since they want to offer tickets to anybody. Science interest will certainly lead to outposts at least.

I'm pretty sure the other village idea (30-50 couples / families) will be a real draw card, and if they can just book a fight on Starship, then definitely possible.
