I was going through @surpassinggoogle 's page and his tear drop token initiative sincerely amazed me. I never really imagined some humans cared about other humans like that, enough to want to spread #tearsofjoy. Personally, i don't like to share my bad experiences, i prefer making people laugh. At least a few seconds to help them forget what it is they're going through. I'm one to encourage and spread joy.
We have several reasons to cry. Our tears are very expensive because they are released with the deepest and truest of intentions and emotions...love, happiness, sadness, joy and other heart touching experiences. When i was 14,a very dear friend of mine lost her mother in October, she had both kidney and liver problems and it was too late for her to get any help. In November, her dad also passed away, that same year. I believe in the power of love, he couldn't stand the death of his wife and he also joined her. My friend faith and her only sibling have had to live with relatives ever since then, not knowing true happiness. What more can i do but offer a shoulder for her to cry on? out of her pain I got inspired and wrote a poem I had in my diary for 3 years now
My eyes....out of the window of my soul appears,
The height and depth that my love shares,
My ups and downs, my deepest fears,
My waiting dreams, my worst nightmares.
The living proof that i'd always care,
Liquid with which my vision clears,
Happiness and sadness my emotions bear,
My burden reduced with each dropping tear.
I remember begging her not to cry because I was going to cry too. She told me that was the only way she could express herself at the moment. She said she had no other way to express her pain, she wanted to let it all out and she screamed in agony. Sad that there are more reasons to shed tears of sadness and agony, than reasons to shed tears of joy. Either way, our tears are magic to soothe the pain , express our joy and it all just intrigues me.
I am struggling with pain, i am constantly praying,
I am searching for something to take it all away.
I am tired of this feeling, my heart is worn out throbbing,
My soul bursts out bleeding, but comfort i find with each tear dropping
I believe in the magic that comes out from the windows of our souls.
