Slovakia 🇸🇰
A very calm country, there is no rich way of life, but people are all kind. There are many mountains that are suitable for ski lovers. The prices are affordable and there are not so many people. Since my family and I have been there more than once, I can advise the places where we rested and where we stayed to live.
Závažná Poruba- the name of the area where you can go skiing or snowboarding. You can also hire an instructor - all very sociable people know English, Ukrainian, Slovak and some even Russian. You can find more information on the internet.
Liptovský Mikuláš is a city located near these mountains. There is no constant movement, everything is very calm. Shops on weekdays are usually closed at 9 and on weekends from 7 to 8.
Tália Resort- is the hotel where we lived. It is very beautiful both outside and inside. The apartment is in good condition and the owners are kind too. The hotel has 3 stars. In general, there were no drawbacks, although there were problems with wifi, we went in winter in severe frost, and wifi got cold and did not work well, but if we go in a little warmer weather, then I think this will not happen. We liked everything very much and the hotel clearly deserves a rating of more than 3.
In general, we go to Slovakia only for the sake of the mountains. We don't visit any sights and don't go to big cities. We usually live in small towns near the mountains and go skiing. We are happy with everything in this area and this is not the first time we come here and we feel at home. Even better than in my home country. From grocery stores we always visit "Lidl". This is a German chain of stores which, as far as I know, exists in the EU countries and even in the USA. I also advise you to visit "Tesco".
That's all, you can ask your questions in the comments, I will answer everyone)))
