So this is likely the only picture of myself that I am likely to post. It is from awhile back and one of the few I liked LOL. I guess with pictures, I prefer to be the one behind the camera!
My blog posts here are going to be (and already are) mostly art blog posts. I don't tend to do things 'the way your supposed to' so this isn't my first post but as I have wandered around the steemit world it seems an introduction is a good thing to do.
So I am Kirsten Star, a married mother to a beautiful little boy of 5 years! He is the light on my darkest days! He stole my heart the day he was born and it is safe with him! Having him tho, was hard on my body. My womb wasn't very feng shui I guess cause he kept pushing my hip up, leaving me unable to walk for more then a few mins before it hurt too much.
All this has meant that I didn't go back to my job and took the self employed route instead. I already had a small portfolio of art and was even earning a small amount each month (that covers the costs of the electric bill only, but what the hey, that's still better than nothing!).
Where I fall down with this whole artist business is the self promotion stuff LOL. As if any artist likes that side of things! I do hope that my blog posts here can maybe help get my work more exposure and see a bit of growth in my sales.
Anyway, that's me in a nutshell (appropriate, as I am a bit nutty LOL). I hope you will take a few mins to check out my art and resteem or comment on anything that catches your eye!
