Clean up in my local park

A couple of months ago, when I was new to DApps I put up a video on DTube of me picking up litter in my local park for the @cleanplanet challenge. Then I came over here and discovered Hive for myself but it took me a little while to get used to things here, so here, finally is my video proof of me doing some cleaning up in the park like I said I did:

It wasn't the most fun thing, but it was a meaningful thing. I've been doing some green things since which I'll post about. My neighbour has also agreed to come with me so we can clean up more together.

Just a note, there were a lot of plastic bottles. I'm going to collect them separately, there's some cool things you can do with them - they need proper cleaning though.

I'm going to write a separate post about plastic reuse projects I've come across. It's really important we do that if we can, because sadly in the UK we just dump our plastic waste elsewhere and quite rightly those countries are not tolerating it anymore. It would be great if we built our own facilities, but not sure our government will, so it's up to us really, for our future
