Like a pool of water,
undisturbed and smooth as glass.
Silently daring me to step in
and break the order once known.
I find myself lost in the depths of your stare.
Your soul beckons to me and mine to yours
I never break the mystery
yet wander amidst your glance.
Time stops
as I search for an answer.
Caught by the twinkle
which mimics the falling star I once wished upon
A joyous flicker,
Such as a flame
hidden within the fire lit in my heart.
Colors swirl,
and you look away.
