Love they say is beautiful, but more beautiful when two people in love are committed to the task of building the relationship without anyone feeling cheated as regards the level of effort he/she feels should be put in by both parties to make it work. For a relationship to work both parties have to make an effort consciously and unconsciously. It's a partnership afterall and with few exceptions, it should be 50/50. In every relationship, no party is more important than the other and as such no party has the right to expect one person to make any effort when he or she is not doing same. If you're in a relationship and you know you're putting in an effort, is your partner doing same? Is he/she pulling his/her weight or is all the work left to you alone? If at the moment you have reasons to relate to the followimg facts it means thinga are a little unbalanced.
(1) HE OR SHE RARELY HAVE TIME FOR YOU: That someone is not having time for you doesn't mean he or she doesn't have time for other person. Stop fooling around by letting your partner deceive you, claiming to be too busy when it's time to spend some time with you. You're better than that. A person that values you will always create time for you no matter how busy his or her schedule is. Never sacrifice your life for someone who is too busy to reciprocate your effort.
(2) HE OR SHE RARELY CALL OR TEXT YOU: That someone isn't calling or texting you doesn't mean he or she isn't calling or texting someone else. I know that people are busy and i also know that when people place a high value on something they'll tend to pay attention to that thing irrespective of their busy schedules. When you get to the point where your partner is no more calling or texting as before just know that something is wrong. It is possible you're only an option to him or her and i'd advice you call it quit before it becomes too late. Stop making them your priority.
(3) WHEN YOU TRY TO BUY THEIR AFFECTION: This can come in the form of buying them gifts regularly even when they never reciprocate, and loaning them money even when you know they'll never pay back. When you're trying to win someone's affections, you'll get much further with legitimetly earninh their respect than giving them resources. Sometimes we do all of this in order to get their attention but yet each passing day they seem to be drifting far away from our grip.
(4) THIS PERSON TREATS YOU WITH DISRESPCT WHEN SPEND TIME TOGETHER: The power dynamic has shifted. It went from being a balanced relationshiop to you trying to salvagr something witb what you could now consider a stranger. Maybe it was never balanced. This person initiates arguments with you for silly reasons. This person ignores you or acts oblivious to you. They make you feel small, and you no longer feel a closeness.
