Greetings everyone!
One simple fact about humans is that we can't like everything, no matter how good we are. Similarly, not everyone can like you, regardless of how beautiful, handsome, or kindhearted you may be.
I'm someone who's been trying hard to live a comfortable life by suppressing my dislikes for those around me, essentially pretending to maintain acceptability. I've tried, but there are still a lot of traits in humans I unavoidably frown at. They're as follows:
Very loud talk:
There was a time I sat down and began to analyse to see if some talks with a normal voice would not be heard.
This trait in humans puts me off so badly!
Currently, I have a street neighbour, a lady in her mid-20s who talks with the sound of a microphone, especially when she's making calls. The worst thing is that she speaks her dialect whenever she's on call, and anyone passing on the road would turn to look and laugh at her.
She's my customer, and many times, if she came to get her clothes in the evening, she would be sounding so loud, and I would beg her to reduce her volume.
It's her talking pattern, right?
When she talked low, wasn't that from her?, Didn't I hear?
Maybe it's because I'm not a boisterous person; that's why I see this trait as so irritating.
Today's afternoon, while I was working, my generator was switched on and sounded loud as usual, and suddenly I began to hear a loud, lamenting sound from a woman close to my office. I thought there was a fight. I quickly rushed out, only to meet this woman voicing out loud on how her child was maltreated in school.
Who was she talking to? Absolutely nobody; it's just her and shop space.
I just got weak and didn't know whether to tell her sorry or not.
I know she's angry, but come on, shouting at the top of her voice at the walls of her shop won't solve anything.
Yesterday, while reading Samiwrite's article, he made mention of those people that peep on someone's phone.
OMG! I find this thing so irritating!
I don't know why people find this thing interesting. I can't even touch someone's phone unless I'm given to check something.
The people that I've witnessed countless times doing this are not far from me; they're my male younger siblings, and I've corrected them many times.
I would be pressing my phone in the comfort of my room. One of them would walk in, touch many things, come and stay either at my back or sideways, depending on the sitting pattern, and start staring at my phone. Men! I used to pursue them!
Another thing I hate is when someone is walking around playing loud music from either his phone or Bluetooth speaker. Let me extend that to include those motorcyclists that blare music like an alarm on the road.
Don't they feel awkward?
Of course, a motorcycle like this can never carry me.
As I drop this keyboard, another thing I frown at deeply is the people (not clergymen) that say "God said I should tell you" every 10 minutes.
In case you don't understand this,
There are people who claim to know God better than us because they've crammed a little portion of the Bible and gone to ministerial school. Abeggggi!
Thanks for reading.
