Hello everyone!
The topic of the interactions between celebrities and their fans is such a controversial one. The debate on how some celebrities react badly, acting like gods in the presence of their die-hard fans, and how some fans behave rudely or without manners when they meet their favorite celebrities, has been ongoing. Sometimes, it seems like a balanced issue, while at other times, it appears that celebrities always overdo their reactions in the presence of their fans.
For me, I haven't really seen any of my top celebrities in person. We've had big celebrities come to my city, and their presence gave a lot of people sleepless nights (in a positive way) because they were finally getting the chance to see their idols. Meanwhile, I was there feeling unconcerned about the whole thing. At the end of these events, we usually hear reports about how the celebrities behaved and how only a select few were allowed to take pictures with them—mostly those who were close to the event’s management.
To be honest, without mincing words, I am one of those people who would take great offense and react badly if I happened to see my favorite celebrity and was not allowed to get close enough due to some restriction. I would not take it lightly. So, whenever I see or hear of fans going crazy and behaving wildly in the presence of their favorite celebrities, I do not blame them. It is simply adrenaline at work—it could be that they have waited for years to have such an opportunity. We have seen this happen many times on the football pitch, where a fan invades the field just to touch or take a picture with their football idol. Sometimes, it ends well for such pitch invaders, as the footballer allows them to have a hug or a photo. Other times, security intervenes and bundles them off before they can reach the footballer, all for security reasons.
Most of the time, the reason why celebrities behave this way—why they put up many barricades, have multiple bodyguards, and push away fans who try to meet them—is due to security concerns, which is understandable to an extent. However, celebrities often take this to an excessive level. I have seen many instances where a fan walked up on stage to dance with a celebrity, only to be kicked away like trash. It makes me wonder a lot—why should such an extreme reaction be necessary? Even if there is an evil intention, at least the bodyguards are present to observe the situation and act accordingly if things take a wrong turn.
I am not supporting fans just because I am one of them, but the fact remains that celebrities often overdo their acts. If only they understood how much their fans idolize them and long for a chance to meet them, they might be more considerate. It sucks!
The reason I love PORTABLE's lifestyle. He's so free😅
At the same time, some fans who do not genuinely admire the celebrity but instead make them uncomfortable with endless demands—especially financial ones—are also at fault. I have seen situations where celebrities feel compelled to go out with bundles of money because they know they will be swarmed and begged for cash the moment they step outside. This is unfair. As fans, we should do better too.
