Luna came running through the stairs like she was pursued by a mad dog, she creaked the door open and that alone got Tracy startled.
"What is wrong"
"I can't believe my ears"Luna said huskily still panting.
"Can you speak already"Tracy raised her voice looking paranoid.
"Raymond has been hospitalized"
"What!! which of the Raymond is that"
"Raymond your Ex boyfriend, and from the doctor's report he will be spending the rest of his life on a wheelchair because of the ghastly motor accident he had"Luna said getting herself a bottle of water.
"What!!! he doesn't deserve that, Lord please save him for his family" Tracy said the prayers with tears rushing through her flaccid cheeks.
"Who told you all of this"
"Dr Phillip, Raymond's friend"
"Which hospital is he"
"Saint peters. Dr Philip told me to tell you"Luna said gulping down a glass of water.without wasting another minute Tracy quickly got prepared, took a cap and went to see Raymond at the hospital. Dr Phillip directed Tracy to the ward Raymond was.Tears freely dropped from her eyes when she saw her Ex lover laying feeble on the bed.
"I'll leave you for now"Dr Philip said making his way out of the room.Tracy walked steadily and slowly towards him and sat right beside him looking at his ardent face and quickly bursted into tears holding his hands firmly into hers.
"Raymond I'm so sorry for everything you're going through right now, you don't deserve to be like this.The doctor said you're deformed and would spend the rest of your life on a wheelchair, but I can't believe that, you're a strong man and you'll make it back to your feet."Tracy quivered looking at him.
"It hurts that you're not looking at me, it hurts that you're not saying anything to me, Raymond please wake up,I promise I won't leave you this time" just then Raymond moved one of his finger weakly and Tracy quickly rushed to call the doctor.
"I think he needs some rest now"He said after a close examination.
"Doctor if there's anything I can do to help please let me know"
"It's fine miss Tracy, you should come back tomorrow I think he should be up by then"
"Oh thanks Doctor"Tracy left but not without giving Raymond a passionate peck on his forehead.
"I thought he is your Ex, why are you so concerned about him"Luna asked watching her friend pack things into the bag.
"Yeah, he's my Ex and he's still my friend, so as a friend I still care about him"she replied smiling all over
"I see"Luna muttered falling back on the bed.
Tracy got to the hospital with lots of stuff for Raymond but was flabbergast to see Raymond sit on the bed looking better, just then the doctor came in.
"Oh Doctor, I brought this for him"she said and turned to leave
"Tracy you can't leave like that"Raymond's voice stopped her and immediately her heart began racing so fast.
"Who are you to tell me what to do and what not to do"Tracy asked looking pissed
"Tracy I know you're still mad at me but I'm deeply sorry for everything, please forgive me"
"Raymond I have forgiven you a long time ago, so please"Just then Raymond stood on his feet looking so hefty and that got Tracy stunned to her marrows.
"Can someone tell me what is going on here before I lose my mind?"
"Tracy Calm down, everything you saw was just a prank, I was never involved in any accident, talk more of being crippled, I...I just wanted to know the woman that loves me no matter my situation, that's why I went that far to setup everything. Dr Philip and even Luna knew all of these was a setup"
The door opened and Luna showed up.
"Tracy, I know I do not deserve you, I cheated on you, but please I'm down on my knees forgive me and accept me again and I promise to be the best man on earth for you"Raymond said with tears streaming down.
"Never Raymond, I can never come back to you, you have Monica, Elizabeth and even Lucy they're your girlfriends, I'm only your Ex, I can't come in between you guys"
"No Tracy they left when they saw my supposed critical condition"Raymond sniffed, with his eyes red, he felt so remorseful.
"Tracy, No one is perfect, just accept his imperfections and forgive him please"Luna said
"Tracy, Raymond you're seeing here is a changed man that I know for sure, he has messed up but please find a place in your heart to forgive him."Dr Philip also pleaded,
"That's fine"she quickly pulled Raymond up and hugged him
"I forgive you with all my heart, no grudges against you and I accept you again." She said drying her wet eyes.
"Oh really"
"I need you back in my life not as my girlfriend but as someone I'll want to spend the rest of my life with"Raymond brought out a case that has a diamond ring on it,"oh my God"Tracy muttered finding it hard to believe her eyes.
"Please Tracy be my wife"she didn't waste another second, she nodded and stretched out her hand and the ring was gently placed on her finger.
"Wow"Luna and Philip muttered at the same time giving them a round of applause.
"Thanks for giving me another chance and I promise to make things right between us"
Tracy nodded with smiles and once again she felt loved and secured.

Luna llegó corriendo por las escaleras como si la persiguiera un perro rabioso, hizo crujir la puerta y sólo eso hizo que Tracy se sobresaltara.
"¿Qué pasa?"
"No puedo creer lo que oigo", dijo Luna roncamente, aún jadeando.
"¿Puedes hablar ya?" Tracy levantó la voz con aspecto paranoico.
"Raymond ha sido hospitalizado"
"¡¡¡Qué!!! ¿Cuál de los Raymond es ese?"
"Raymond, tu ex novio, y según el informe del médico pasará el resto de su vida en una silla de ruedas por el espantoso accidente de tráfico que tuvo" dijo Luna cogiendo una botella de agua.
"¡¡¡Qué!!! no se merece eso, Señor por favor sálvalo para su familia" Tracy dijo las oraciones con lágrimas corriendo por sus flácidas mejillas.
"¿Quién te ha contado todo esto?"
"El Dr. Phillip, amigo de Raymond"
"¿Qué hospital es?"
"Saint Peters. El Dr. Phillip me dijo que te lo contara" dijo Luna engullendo un vaso de agua.Sin perder ni un minuto más Tracy se preparó rápidamente, cogió una gorra y fue a ver a Raymond al hospital. El Dr. Phillip dirigió a Tracy a la sala en la que se encontraba Raymond.Las lágrimas cayeron libremente de sus ojos cuando vio a su ex amante tendido débilmente en la cama.
"Tracy caminó lentamente hacia él y se sentó a su lado mirando su rostro ardiente y rápidamente rompió a llorar agarrando sus manos con firmeza.
"Raymond siento mucho todo lo que estás pasando ahora, no te mereces estar así.El médico dijo que estabas deformado y que pasarías el resto de tu vida en una silla de ruedas, pero no puedo creerlo, eres un hombre fuerte y conseguirás ponerte en pie "Tracy se estremeció mirándole.
"Me duele que no me mires, me duele que no me digas nada, Raymond por favor despierta, te prometo que no te dejaré esta vez" justo entonces Raymond movió uno de sus dedos débilmente y Tracy se apresuró a llamar al médico.
"Creo que necesita descansar ahora", dijo después de un examen minucioso.
"Doctor, si hay algo que pueda hacer para ayudar, por favor hágamelo saber"
"Está bien, señorita Tracy, debería volver mañana, creo que para entonces ya estará bien".
"Oh, gracias doctor" Tracy se fue pero no sin darle a Raymond un apasionado beso en la frente.
"Pensé que era tu ex, ¿por qué estás tan preocupada por él?
"Sí, es mi ex y sigue siendo mi amigo, así que como amiga me sigo preocupando por él" respondió sonriendo.
"Ya veo "murmuró Luna dejándose caer de nuevo en la cama.
Tracy llegó al hospital con un montón de cosas para Raymond, pero se quedó atónita al ver a Raymond sentado en la cama con mejor aspecto, justo entonces entró el médico.
"Oh, doctor, he traído esto para él", dijo y se dio la vuelta para marcharse.
"Tracy, no puedes irte así" la voz de Raymond la detuvo e inmediatamente su corazón comenzó a acelerarse.
"¿Quién eres tú para decirme lo que tengo que hacer y lo que no?
"Tracy sé que todavía estás enfadada conmigo pero estoy profundamente arrepentido de todo, por favor perdóname"
"Raymond te he perdonado hace mucho tiempo, así que, por favor "En ese momento, Raymond se puso en pie con un aspecto tan fuerte que Tracy se quedó atónita.
"¿Puede alguien decirme qué está pasando aquí antes de que pierda la cabeza?"
"Tracy Cálmate, todo lo que viste fue solo una broma, nunca estuve involucrado en ningún accidente, habla más bien de estar lisiado, yo... solo quería conocer a la mujer que me ama sin importar mi situación, por eso fui tan lejos para arreglar todo. El doctor Felipe y hasta Luna sabían que todo esto era un montaje"
La puerta se abrió y apareció Luna.
"Tracy, sé que no te merezco, te engañé, pero por favor estoy de rodillas perdóname y acéptame de nuevo y te prometo ser el mejor hombre del mundo para ti "dijo Raymond con lágrimas en los ojos.
"Nunca Raymond, nunca podré volver contigo, tienes a Mónica, Elizabeth e incluso Lucy que son tus amigas, yo sólo soy tu Ex, no puedo interponerme entre vosotras"
"No Tracy se fueron cuando vieron mi supuesto estado crítico "Raymond resopló, con los ojos rojos, se sentía muy arrepentido.
"Tracy, nadie es perfecto, acepta sus imperfecciones y perdónalo, por favor", dijo Luna.
"Tracy, Raymond es un hombre cambiado, lo sé con certeza, ha metido la pata, pero por favor, encuentra un lugar en tu corazón para perdonarlo", le suplicó el Dr. Philip,
"Está bien", ella rápidamente levantó a Raymond y lo abrazó.
"Te perdono de todo corazón, no te guardo rencor y te acepto de nuevo". Dijo secándose los ojos húmedos.
"Oh, de verdad"
"Necesito que vuelvas a mi vida, no como mi novia, sino como alguien con quien quiera pasar el resto de mi vida" Raymond sacó un estuche con un anillo de diamantes, "oh Dios mío" murmuró Tracy sin poder creer lo que veía.
"Por favor, Tracy, sé mi esposa", no perdió ni un segundo, asintió y extendió la mano y el anillo fue colocado suavemente en su dedo.
"Wow "murmuraron Luna y Philip al mismo tiempo dándoles un aplauso.
"Gracias por darme otra oportunidad y prometo arreglar las cosas entre nosotros"
Tracy asintió con una sonrisa y una vez más se sintió amada y segura.
