We live in the period of heightened negative spiritual activity and gross darkness. Ironically, this has seemingly resulted in a dip in spiritual sensitivity of men including Christians. God has given us His Spirit and there lies all supernatural capabilities but if you cannot bring it out, you will not experience it.
One of the practices that unlocks the power of the supernatural that lies in you is the practice of prayer and intercession. There is nothing else God understands but His standards and He has given us everything we need to walk in His standards. We can access these only through prayer. If you succeed in limiting yourself in the area of effective prayer, you would have robbed yourself all opportunity to access what God has provided for your victory.
As Christians, we are not designed to be victims but victors. You can take your destiny in your hands and move it to where God wants on bended knees. There is no impossibility to him that will pray and believe. The power to change our destiny is within us but it needs the cooperation of our minds to bring it out. What your mind accepts is what you experience that is why you need to renew your mind to line up with what you desire to experience.
John 14:14
God has given us the guarantee that whatever we ask for, He will do. That asking is what prayer is about.
You need to pray through to break through. Physical breakthrough is first spiritual breakthrough.
What God has invested in us is able to yield unlimited greatness in us but unless we transact in the spirit through travail, we cannot lay hold of it.
Whatever we allow in our lives, we will keep experiencing until we start pushing back through prayer.
Hebrew 7:25
Whatever God is doing in heaven must be complemented on earth by men. The intercessory ministry of Jesus in heaven needs the intercessory ministry of men to prevail on earth.
God knows we have weakness in the flesh and so He has given us His spirit to help us in intercession.
The Spirit prompts us, He stirs us up. He prays through us, He prays God’s will for us, He is our helper. When we start, He helps us.
If we never reach out for His help, we will not experience effective prayer. Any prayer prayed effectively (in the spirit) always delivers result.
Amen and Amen.
