Remember. On those dark nights, When you seek for pleasure and I'm not there. When you roll and turn about, and I'm absent. When the tears threaten to fall, and there's no one to kiss them. On mornings when you fold your arms and wait for your lover, On hot noon days when you're sweaty, but I'm not there to cool you. When your heart is heavy, and you can't tell anyone Because the one you connect with is gone. The days of chocolate and fanta, when you want to steal them from my lips, but you see only an after image. IMG-20171225-WA0066.jpg
How often you dream of groaning my name, but all you can grab is the pillows and sheets. Down by the stream, treading our favorite path, Up, across the hills, remembering how we picnicked, And learnt the language of our bodies, Those steamy and cloudy moments, filled with tender touches. On evenings when you're lonely, and long for a cuddle. Those times you'll cook for two, but can serve for only one. You'll think of those days when I surprised you with warm meals and later, hotter eating. Memories of our lives together, playing before you in retrospect. Only then will the tears gather, and prepare to spill. And your heart wrench from pain. You'll seek death, not to die, but to escape. And from above, I'll look down and smile. For it would be a perfect show of karma. You spurned me when I served, And threw the love I offered to swines. Remember me, as you pay for your sins. Light a candle to my memory.
