installer doesn't launch when trying to install apk files from dir file manager

Expected behavior

I expected that when I click an apk file on dir file manager to install it, the installer will pop up

Actual behavior

when I click the apk file I get the message "no matching application installed"

How to reproduce

• launch app
• access an apk file
• click the apk file and the error message pops up

• Browser: HTC M7
• Operating system: Android 6.0.1
• Software version: 1.5.3
