Mothers are a gift from God. Sometimes I just sit back and watch how a mother cares for her child not minding all the inconveniences. We cannot underestimate the role of mothers in the world馃挄.
They are a special set of people and we should celebrate them everyday.
Mothers possess qualities that are rare and sometimes, I ask myself how do they do it?.
I am not undermining the roles that fathers play but I want us to take this moment and celebrate our mothers. I LOVE MOTHERS馃挒
Qualities of Mothers
Mothers are compassionate and Caring; Look back at when you were growing up, the care and compassion your mother showed to you is minding blowing馃槝. Mothers always make sure that everyone in the family is doing well and lack nothing.
Sacrifice; Mothers sacrifice a lot for the family. The sacrifice their time, money and resources to make sure everyone in the family are satisfied and they even deny themselves of luxurious things. A friend told me how his mother always made sure he had what to eat and wear. One day he asked his mother if she doesn't like buying new clothes for herself, she told him that she is happy when her children are happy.
Good managers of resources; Mothers know our to manage resources. No matter how little money or any other resource is, a Mother will know how she can manage it to the satisfaction of everyone. I remember one time I wanted to go get groceries , I felt the money I had on me won't be enough. My mom got the money from me and made a list and I told her she might have to add some money before she could get everything on the list. To my greatest surprise she came back with groceries and from the receipt it was exactly the amount I gave her. She knew the things that were important. To me I felt I just needed to buy the whole store.
Forgiving; Some of us might not really consider this but mothers are so forgiving. Just flashback and imagine how many times you offended your mother. They will scold us and still draw us back to themselves. What a wonderful love.
Loyalty; Mothers are the most loyal people in the world. They are committed to their family. Mothers will stick with you through the good and times. Mothers will always keep to their promises. No matter how long it takes, a mother will always fulfill her promise.
