Miracle, as we know, is an occurrence that beats natural explanation. This is a subject matter that has caused so much controversy. Do miracles really happen? or do we just have people telling fictitious stories? Miracles for me are an everyday phenomenon; they happen around us every second, but we always wait to see a super occurrence before we believe it's a miracle.
I have heard stories of people experiencing supernatural events in their lives, and this can be said to be a miracle. The first miracle I heard was of a boy who was partially blind for ten years; everything was tried medically, but all to no avail. The parents of the boy had given up and believed the boy would remain so for the rest of his life. But on this fateful day. The boy was having his bath, and he noticed that he could see clearly. At first he doubted it and decided to cover his good eye. He then noticed that he was able to see clearly with the bad eye. That was a miracle for the boy. Many people living in the boy's neighborhood doubted this miracle, saying the boy was overreacting to the whole situation and maybe he was always pretending to not look clearly. For me, I believe the boy experienced a miracle.
A woman shared a story of her son, who could not walk at the age of four. She was disturbed and always crying, but her husband would always tell her not to worry that one day a miracle would happen. She couldn't sit to watch her growing child just sit there. She would move from one specialist hospital to the other, and all said the same thing: the boy was medically fit, and one could diagnose what the issue was. She was so overwhelmed with the situation that it affected her health. On a fateful Friday evening, kids in her compound were kicking football and screaming; suddenly, her son, who could not walk, just stood up and staggered towards the kids kicking the ball. This is a miracle wish no one can explain.
Have I experienced a miracle before? I would say yes. It was a case of a boy who was standing by the roadside when an incoming vehicle lost control and hit the boy, and he fell inside a nearby gutter. Everyone that saw the incident screamed. We all thought the boy had died, but as we all rushed to get the boy out of the gutter, we were shocked to see the boy up and climbing out of the gutter. I was shocked by this; the boy didn't even have a single cut or bruise. We rushed him to the hospital to check for internal bleeding, and when the result was out, he had no such issue. This is a miracle.
Miracles are not some magic but those occurrences around us that we cannot explain. Miracles happen every day, and we are part of it. Miracle is all about the faith of a person. If one believes that he or she needs a supernatural intervention on an issue and trusts in God to come to his or her help, it will happen. Miracles are tied to our belief and total trust in God.
