It is a bright and sunny Saturday. We have done all our housework, and there is nothing more to be done. Dad walks into the living room. Ani, take these food items to house number 24," he said. Dad, why do we always take food items to house number 24?" I asked innocently. Dad looked at me and replied "That information is not important".

"Rose is a 56-year-old medical doctor. She was married to a loving and caring husband. We called him Mr. Muscle because of his physical appearance. Mr. Muscle owned a bakery, and I can say that his bakery was the best in town. I bought so many loaves of bread from his bakery that I enjoyed every bite of it.Mrs. Rose is loved by everyone on the estate; she has a heart of gold. I cannot recall the number of people she has helped save their lives.

It was a breezy Friday evening. I was standing by the basketball court, watching some boys play an interesting basketball game. I saw Mrs. Rose running; since it was in the evening, I thought she was just going for a jog. It wasn't up to 30 minutes when I saw people looking so sad and dejected passing by the court. I was surprised because most of them were vibrant young men who loved watching or playing basketball. I beckoned to one of them, Dan, what's the problem?" He turned with tears in his eyes. "Mrs. Rose's children just had an accident," he replied. "Are they safe?" I asked. Dan walked away without saying a word. At that moment, I knew all was not well.I rushed to the hospital, and I found Mrs. Rose sobbing uncontrollably. At that moment, I knew all was not well. "Mrs. Rose, take it easy; this is not the end of the world," I said. Mrs. Rose nodded in approval, and I was happy she had hope, even though she just lost her two sons in a car accident.

Mrs. Rose's phone rang, and she picked it up. The phone dropped from her hand, and she started screaming. I was confused and asked her, "What is the problem, Ma?" She looked at me and asked me, "What offense did I commit?" I was confused. She then said "There was an explosion at the bakery, and no one survived". At that moment, I was shocked and felt goosebumps; I couldn't say a word. I just watched Mrs. Rose cry, and she became an object of pity at the hospital."

After Dad narrated Mrs. Rose's story, I got the answer to the question I always had in mind whenever we were asked to take food items to house number 24.Mrs. Rose had so many people bringing her food items and clothes. She had become an object of pity.
